    • Fibromyalgia
      • Day 1: 12.5 mg x 1
      • Day 2-3: 12.5 mg BID
      • Day 4-7: 25 mg BID
      • Thereafter: 50 mg BID
      • Max dose:  100 mg BID
      • Adequate trial period:  4 weeks
  • Note: Decreased dose in patients with renal disease

    • Simple dosing
  • Common adverse effects
    • Nausea – can reduced with 30mg q day for a week before increasing to 60mg/day
  • Dosing
    • Starting dose:  30mg daily
    • Titrating:  Increase to 60mg once a day after one week
    • Max dose:  60mg twice a day
    • Adequate trial period:  4 weeks
