Hi, I would like to know what cpt to bill for Steroid injection into pseudoarticulation between the left L5 tranverse process and the sacrum. Medicare denied cpt 64493. So I am questioning weather we billed it correctly patient has Left Bertolotti syndrom. Please email me let me know. Thanks.
There is no true joint there so the only thing I could think of would be a trigger point injection.
I have a terrific, well reviewed new book out, Advanced Headache Therapy; if you can look at it(on Amazon) and consider adding it to the book list…thanks, Lawrence Robbins
Hi,
My name is Elky working in a medical billing company as a biller.
I have a nerve block question as follows: if the Dr does a genicular nerve block 64450 on three branches could we report 64450×3?
I have asked around a little and so far everyone except one person is billing it x1. What do you suggest?
